Deck and Privacy Screen That Does It All

Not every deck needs to be big to make a difference. This one was built with a clear purpose — a private outdoor space that feels sheltered from the street without feeling closed off. We added a horizontal slat privacy screen on the street-facing side that blocks the view from passersby while still letting light and air through. Black aluminum picket railing wraps the rest of the deck for safety, and the skirting underneath keeps the look clean and finished all the way to the ground. It’s a compact build that packs a lot into a small footprint — privacy, style, and function in one.
